Identity Recovery IR
Definition
Ability to restore identities and access entitlements after a destructive event — ransomware, mass account compromise, malicious admin action, accidental bulk deletion. Goes beyond backup/restore: includes time-travel queries on identity state, selective restoration, and forensic timeline of identity changes. Part of KuppingerCole's 100-Day Identity Security Plan (alongside ISPM, ITDR, passwordless, and Identity Fabric).
