Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-08. Applies to identigy.com.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time.

2. Categories we use

Necessary (always on)

Strictly required to operate the site, including the consent banner state. No tracking purpose. This category also covers Vercel Speed Insights — an aggregate Core Web Vitals measurement (page load and responsiveness timings) provided by our hosting platform. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data and builds no visitor profile, so it runs without consent; it cannot be used to identify or track you.

Marketing analytics (opt-in)

Google Analytics 4 — to measure marketing campaign performance and search-engine traffic attribution. Loaded only after you accept this category in the consent banner.

Product analytics (opt-in)

PostHog (EU data residency, eu.posthog.com) for product analytics — measuring feature usage, identifying UX friction, session replay with masked inputs (passwords and email fields auto-masked). Data: pseudonymous distinct ID, IP truncated to /24, pageviews, autocaptured UI events. Loaded only after you accept in the consent banner; if you choose “Only necessary”, or have not answered the banner yet, PostHog is not loaded at all. You can also opt out at any time by enabling Do Not Track (DNT), installing a privacy extension that blocks the PostHog domain, or contacting us for full data deletion (see §5).

Business-audience analytics (opt-in)

Snitcher (Radar) — company-level identification of business visitors by reverse IP lookup, so we can tell which organisations read our service pages. It reports the organisation, not you personally, and is never used for advertising. Loaded only after you accept in the consent banner. Vercel Analytics — aggregate, cookieless traffic measurement; page-view events are likewise only sent after you accept.

3. Managing consent

You can change your preferences at any time using the consent banner that appears at the bottom of the page. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings to revoke all consents and re-display the banner on your next visit.

4. Third parties

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) — only when you opt in. PostHog Inc. (EU data residency: eu.posthog.com) — product analytics, only when you opt in (see §2). Captured: pseudonymous distinct ID, anonymized IP (/24 truncation), pageviews, autocaptured UI events, session replay with masked inputs (passwords/emails). Retention per PostHog default policy. Snitcher (snitcher.com) — company-level business visitor identification by reverse IP lookup, only when you opt in. Vercel Inc. — Web Analytics (cookieless page-view counts, only when you opt in) and Speed Insights (aggregate Core Web Vitals, no cookies and no personal data — necessary, see §2). No advertising or cross-site use.
