Cross-System Identity Resolution
Definition
Matching identities across systems with different identifier conventions — resolving that an SAP user ID, a Windows AD account, an Entra ID UPN, and a Workday employee ID all refer to the same person. Foundation for IGA, customer 360, fraud detection, and compliance subject identification. Algorithms range from deterministic (exact employee ID match) to probabilistic (fuzzy name + department + manager).
