Identity Control Plane
Definition
Centralised policy and orchestration layer governing identity decisions across heterogeneous IAM, IGA, PAM, and authorization systems. Provides single policy language, unified audit trail, and consistent enforcement regardless of underlying vendor mix. SailPoint VIA Model (Visibility, Intelligence, Action) is a vendor-specific articulation of this concept.
