Identity Fabric
Definition
KuppingerCole-coined architectural concept (2019, mainstream 2023+) for an integrated identity platform that delivers all identity services — IGA, PAM, ITDR, ISPM, CIAM, authentication, federation — through a unified control plane with shared data layer and consistent policy enforcement. Replaces siloed identity tools with composable services on common identity data fabric.
