Definition
In Evolveum midPoint, an **org structure** is a hierarchical arrangement of Org objects representing organizational units such as departments, teams, or positions used for identity lifecycle, approvals, and access assignments. Multiple independent org structures (for example HR structure, cost-center structure, project structure) can coexist in one deployment, sharing the same identities but modeling different business hierarchies. Org structures are typically used as a scoping, delegation, and policy context for roles, governance, and reporting within midPoint.
