Organizational Unit Org
Definition
In midPoint, an **Organizational Unit (Org)** is an OrgType object representing a node in the organizational structure, such as a department, team, cost center, or other business unit used for modeling hierarchy and responsibilities. Org objects form tree-like or graph structures that can be used for assignment targeting, policy scoping, approvals, and role-based access control. Each Org may have attributes such as identifier, display name, lifecycle state, and relations to users, roles, and other Orgs.
